At the 5th HIV Research for Prevention Conference (HIVR4P), in Lima, Peru, SIG and Global Health Research Center for Central Asia (GHRCCA) researchers shared posters highlighting their important work.
HIV4RP is a conference of the International AIDS Society focused on HIV prevention and the science that drives major advances in preventing HIV transmission and acquisition. The SIG studies featured below test innovations in prevention aimed at groups that are especially vulnerable to HIV, such as HIV self-testing as the first step to biomedical prevention for women who exchange sex for needed resources, and self-curated sexual pleasure/health kits that include self-tests and navigation to biomedical prevention for gay, bisexual, same gender-loving, and other MSM.
