Project Summary

Researchers at Columbia University are launching Face Forward, a study exploring how an AI-powered mental health app can support adolescents living with facial differences. The study uses a dyadic design, enrolling both young people and their parents or caregivers, and combines surveys, daily diaries, and qualitative interviews to capture participants' experiences. As part of the study, teens will also be evaluating their experiences with an AI conversational agent.
