Bio
Mary graduated with her MSW from Columbia in 2023, where she specialized in Advanced Policy Practice. She started with SIG as an intern during the second year of her MSW program and joined the team as a Research Coordinator for the Healing Communities Study upon graduating. Before coming to Columbia, Mary worked at the NYC Department of Homeless Services for three years, primarily on initiatives related to services for LGBTQI+ clients and young people experiencing homelessness. Mary is interested in interdisciplinary research approaches to address complex social and policy challenges.
