Bio
As Associate Director of Communications and Marketing, Maggie handles media relations, social media, website content, and works to promote the research taking place at SIG.
Prior to joining SIG, Maggie served as Assistant Director of Communications for Columbia Neighbors from 2019 to 2023, managing social media, leading the annual Columbia Community Service donation campaign communications, creating website content, and more. From 2016 to 2019, Maggie was a Project Assistant in the Office of Government and Community Affairs, handling internal research projects for the department. Maggie has a Masters in Human Rights Studies from Columbia Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and a Bachelors in Psychology and Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
