Alejandra Villadiego

Bio

Alejandra Villadiego is the Grants Manager for the Social Intervention Group. She earned an M.A. from Roehampton University in International Service in 2006 and a B.A. in Peace Studies from the Friends World Program of Long Island University in 2001. 

Prior to joining SIG, Alejandra was a sub-award manager at ICAP, a center of the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University. Her most recent portfolio included Tanzania, South Sudan, Uganda, Zambia and Ethiopia. In this role, Alejandra provided training and technical support to her global counterparts and international subrecipents. Alejandra has also served as a grant and financial coordinator for the Department of Population and Family Health and the Sergievsky Center, both within the Columbia University Medical Center. Alejandra has been a licensed Zumba instructor since 2018 and enjoys being part of the communities that are formed and strengthened through dance.
