Qingyue Wang

Student

Qingyue is a master’s student in Statistics at Columbia University, specializing in Advanced Machine Learning. Her research interests include causal inference, machine learning, and large language models. Her research experience includes applying statistical modeling and causal inference methods to large-scale transportation data, as well as developing and evaluating LLM-based systems for financial analysis.

Through her collaboration with the Social Intervention Group, she hopes to apply statistical methods and machine learning to social science research. She is interested in evaluating AI-assisted research methods, improving the reliability of AI applications, and exploring how quantitative and qualitative approaches can complement each other in social research. She also hopes to contribute to research that connects statistical methodology with social science and community-based research.
