Sherzod Gulamov

Sherzod Gulamov is a social protection professional with extensive experience in international cooperation, project coordination, and investment promotion. He is currently serving as a Program Unit Specialist at the Center for Advancing Community Strengths and Social Wellbeing, where he supports the design, implementation, and oversight of projects aimed at strengthening social services and community development.

Previously, Sherzod worked as Chief Specialist of the International Relations and Investments Department at the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of Uzbekistan. In this role, he contributed to the development of social protection policies, international partnerships, and the attraction of foreign investments to strengthen the social services system.

He also gained significant experience at the Investment Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan, where he led international outreach, organized major events such as the Tashkent International Investment Forum, and supported foreign investors in project implementation. His earlier professional background includes work in digital marketing, project promotion, and content management.

Sherzod holds a bachelor’s degree in international business (Marketing Studies) from Universiti Malaysia Perlis. He is fluent in Uzbek and Russian, with full professional proficiency in English.

Sherzod’s professional strengths include building effective partnerships with government agencies, international organizations, NGOs, and private sector stakeholders, as well as supporting evidence-based social protection reforms. Passionate about innovative and sustainable solutions, he continues to contribute to advancing Uzbekistan’s social services system and international engagement.
