Firuza Sidikova

Firuza Sidikova is an experienced education and social development professional with over 20 years of expertise in higher education, academic publishing, project management, and international cooperation. She has a proven track record in designing and leading innovative academic programs, strengthening institutional capacity, and advancing social welfare initiatives.

Currently holding the position of Chief Specialist on Training and Education at the Center for Advancing Community Strengths and Social Wellbeing, Firuza leads national efforts to modernize training systems, expand professional development opportunities for social sector specialists, and align educational programs with international standards. Her work focuses on strengthening the social service workforce by introducing new bachelor’s and master’s programs, updating curricula, designing specialized courses on mental health, gender-based violence, and disability, retraining practitioners, and fostering international academic exchange.

Previously, she was Chief Editor at “in Science” LLC, where she successfully raised the journal’s ranking, broadened its readership, and launched three new academic journals. Earlier, at the Plekhanov University of Economics in Tashkent, she held senior leadership roles, including Dean and Vice-Dean, spearheading new educational programs, fostering partnerships with universities and businesses, and establishing a business incubator in collaboration with IT Park Uzbekistan.

Firuza has also managed large-scale initiatives with the Central Bank of Uzbekistan and IT Park, supporting more than 26 startups, coordinating financial literacy projects, and expanding university networks. Author of over 170 scientific publications and organizer of numerous international conferences, Firuza is committed to advancing education, research integration, and the professionalization of the social service workforce in line with global standards.
