Sydney Leone

I was drawn to the HCS Program Manager role as it is an opportunity for me to be a part of a community-driven and novel response to the current opioid epidemic while supporting communities that have been immensely impacted by this epidemic. In this new role, I'm looking forward to being able to continue to support communities throughout New York State while supporting cross-sectoral collaborations and communications.

Sydney Leone is the Program Manager on the HEALing Communities Study at the Social Intervention Group. She earned her MPH from The City University of New York Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy in 2018 and her B.S in Public Health at The University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2015.

Prior to joining SIG, Sydney was a Senior Program Manager for MVP Health Care. In this role, she managed programs and partnerships to support health promotion initiatives across New York State with a particular focus on community engagement, program planning, and strategic partnership development.  In addition, Sydney is a part-time Consultant where she supports non-profits through providing communications and project management support. Sydney has also spent time working at The New York University Grossman School of Medicine where she served as a Project Coordinator and the Center for Human Development in Springfield, MA where she was a Health and Wellness Specialist.
