Bio
Eric Aragundi is an educator, researcher, and data scientist based in New York. He currently serves as a full-time lecturer at Lehman College and a part-time researcher at Columbia University. Eric earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, with a minor in Computer Science, from Lehman College in Spring 2022, and Also, he also earned a master's Degree in Statistics with a concentration in machine learning from Columbia University in 2023.
Eric has more than 8 years of experience as an educator and curriculum developer, specializing in mathematics and computer science. He is passionate about integrating programming, AI, and practical data analysis techniques into his teaching. Additionally, he is involved in research at Columbia University, collaborating with the Department of Social Work to apply machine learning and statistical analysis to social intervention studies.
Committed to academic excellence, Eric's achievements include the GEI and MA2PHD merit scholarships, PNSF S-STEM Scholarship, the Abraham and Dora Rose Award for Excellence in Mathematics, and the ALFS Student of the Year Award by the BCC Latino association.
