Bio

Ari Holman (she/her)

Ari Holman is the Project Coordinator for the UNICEF and SAMHSA projects at the Social Intervention Group. She earned her MSW from Columbia University School of Social Work in April of 2021 and completed her field internship at UNICEF where she contributed research and report writing.

Ari earned her B.A. in Political Science and Psychology from Union College in 2015. Her background includes work in international social work, immigrants and refugees, mental health, and human rights.

Prior to joining SIG, Ari was a Senior Associate for Human Rights Watch where she worked on a wide range of human rights issues. She has previously worked on health system strengthening as a Research Consultant for UNICEF in New York. Ari is an interpreter for immigrants and refugees from Latin America.
