Post Doc Training

The Social Intervention Group (SIG) provides different training opportunities for new scholars who have completed their doctoral education. SIG helps steward post-doctoral researchers as they transition into independent scientists capable of serving as Principal Investigators on greants and novel programs of research. Structured training opportunities involve networking and exposure to senior scientists, methdology and topical workshops, internal peer or mock review, pilot study funding, and career guidance.

Post-doctoral training activities and opportunities include the HIV Intervention Science Training Program for Promising New Investigators from Under-Represented Groups (HISTP) and a T32 training program funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse.
