Background on AmCham and the Awards

The American Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan (AmCham) is an association of international and local business community in Kazakhstan. Today the Chamber represents over two hundred member companies, non-profit organizations, international financial institutions, and individual members. GHRCCA is a member of AmCham since 2014.

Annual AmCham Awards competition is to celebrate member excellence and recognize the best member accomplishments and outstanding public service in ten categories.

This year’s Awards process was more competitive than ever with 55 nominations received for ten Awards.

All nominations were impartially reviewed by the independent AmCham Selection Committee consisting of three AmCham members appointed from a variety of industry sectors, affiliated with both large and small companies in different regions of Kazakhstan, with due respect to gender and linguistic diversity.
